Serial pathological liar and Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney gave his acceptance speech to the Republican Convention last night. Romney has been lying so long, it is natural for him, here is a link to Romney and his many lies--
http://thinkprogress.org/romney-facts-matter/?mobile=nc"
Here is a list of lies from Romney's speech--
http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/story/2012-08-31/mitt-romney-fact-check-republican-convention/57467252/1
Kind of wonder why USA Today left out another of Romney's lies about "Obama's Apology Tour" which never happened and only lives on in rightwing world. Perhaps they had to cut out some of Romney's lies to meet the space allotted in the paper.
This link has Romney's lie about the "Tour"--
http://www.politicususa.com/5-biggest-lies-mitt-romneys-acceptance-speech.html
I don't like liars and with my post on Paul Ryan, there are scriptural verses that should make those who say they are Christian, begin to ask questions and repent for their blind allegiance to the Republican Party. Yet, it won't happen, because on top of the lies are race baiting lies to promote hatred and fear. Even the conservative National Journal (to their credit) has pointed it out. Romney's racial division tactics are so blatant that conservatives can't play the "I didn't know that" game.
http://www.nationaljournal.com/2012-election/why-and-how-romney-is-playing-the-race-card-20120829
We should be wary of those who cause division. Even more so those who do it blatantly for their own political purposes.
Paul had this in Romans 16:17-19--
17 I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. 18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. 19 Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.
So we have alleged Christians, blindly supporting Mitt Romney and the Republican Party who are blatantly lying to them and creating divisions in our nation. Instead of keeping away from them, they run toward them and attack others who question or disagree. If you claim to be a Christian, how does that make sense?

Republican Abomination Part 7--Paul Ryan, Liar
Last night, the Republican Party trotted out its Vice Presidential nominee, Paul Ryan, to give his convention speech. Unfortunately, Ryan's speech was riddled with lies. Let's not parse words here--Ryan is a liar.
Ryan lied so much, it was easy to call him out on it.
http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/08/ryan-risks-reputation-with-misleading-nomination-speech.php?ref=fpa
But, what is really shocking is the more rightwing media is calling Paul Ryan out on his lies--this article details CNN (which has shifted far to the right) calling Ryan out--
http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/08/paul-ryan-convention-speech-media-backlash.php
And, Fox (yes, that Fox) called out Ryan in his lies here--
So, for those who claim they are "Christian" and will vote Republican either knowing or denying to want to know that the Republican Party constantly lies to you, that is not a Christian act. Just say you hate Obama because he is black. You won't get more respect, but at least you can start claiming some mantle of honesty.
Here are a few Bible verses on liars and lying:
Leviticus 6:1-4, "And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour…or hath deceived his neighbour…and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein: Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty,"
Leviticus 19:11, "Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another."
Matthew 15:19, "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts…false witness…These are the things which defile a man: "
John 8:44, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."
Ryan lied so much, it was easy to call him out on it.

Republican Abomination Part 6: Romney and "The Soul of America"
Mitt Romney is right by calling this an election for "The Soul of America". He is wrong implying that he and the Republicans are the knights in shining armor. They are not. The country started turning around after President Obama and the Democrats came into office in 2008 and passed the "cash for clunker" legislation and a stimulus package that took us out of the Republican economic nosedive.
However, the Republicans aren't stupid, but they are evil and they have thwarted every attempt since that time to make the economy better. The Republicans and financiers like Romney are the ones who have brought America to its knees economically. What Romney and the Republicans are trying to do with their Tea Party shock troops and fear-mongering is to finish the American middle class off.
And, they want to take away your social contracts--Social Security, Medicare, Public Schools, etc. and foist the costs onto you so they can make more money off you. That is greedy and uncaring, my friend. Ask yourself, does God really want me to ensure that my neighbor is poor, helpless, sick and ignorant? Well, if you read the Bible and believe it, the answer is "NO".
This is a great commercial about Romney, what he has done and what he is trying to do in reinventing himself. If Romney's heart grows like the Grinch or he gets a soul, maybe he will repent at the RNC!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGcPVRBts-o&feature=player_embedded#!
There are some great Romney lines, but to me the best is "I stand by what I said, whatever it was."

Republican Abomination Part 5: Rape is the same as sex before marriage
Pennsylvania Republican Senatorial Candidate, Tom Smith, equated with sex out of wedlock to rape. Link is here--
http://www.politicspa.com/smith-makes-abortion-gaffe-with-audio/40404/
Here is how it went down:
Robert Vickers, Patriot News: In light of Congressman Akin’s comments, is there any situation that you think a woman should have access to an abortion?
Tom Smith: My stance is on record and it’s very simplistic: I’m pro-life, period. And what that Congressman said, I do not agree with at all. He should have never said anything like that. Vickers: So in cases of incest or rape…
Laura Olson, Post-Gazette: No exceptions?
Smith: No exceptions.
Mark Scolforo, Associated Press: How would you tell a daughter or a granddaughter who, God forbid, would be the victim of a rape, to keep the child against her own will? Do you have a way to explain that?
Smith: I lived something similar to that with my own family. She chose life, and I commend her for that. She knew my views. But, fortunately for me, I didn’t have to.. she chose they way I thought. No don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t rape.
Scolforo: Similar how?
Smith: Uh, having a baby out of wedlock.
Scolforo: That’s similar to rape?
Smith: No, no, no, but… put yourself in a father’s situation, yes. It is similar. But, back to the original, I’m pro-life, period.
So, Smith believes rape is the same as pre-marital sex. And everything is about the MAN, whatever the MAN wants. Wow, this shouldn't surprise those who know Republicans and have checked out the Republican Party Platform which outlawed abortion (at least last week it did--I believe they made some changes to try to get some votes from women).
Smith claims he is a "Christian". From his website--
"Tom and Saundy have a long record of involvement in community organizations and are active members of Mt. Union Lutheran Church."
Full link to his site here--http://tomsmithforsenate.com/meet-tom
Tom should open his Bible to 1 Timothy 5:2-- (treat)older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.
Which would mean NO RAPE and Rape doesn't=consensual sex.
Also, Jesus wouldn't approve. Here is a link to a great article on how Jesus treated women and ripped the veil off of how women were treated up to that point in time by "religious" leaders in society.
http://www.religioustolerance.org/cfe_bibl.htm
The Republicans are trying to tell us that whatever happens to women, too bad! So, Tom Smith is right. He is protecting mens "right" to force a women to have a child after she has been raped. He doesn't give a damn about the woman who is raped.
I don't really see any difference between Smith's ideas and that of the Taliban.

Republican Abomination Part 4: Creating & Feeding the Monster
So, Republicans in Tampa, Florida (at least) are afraid of their creation--the Tea Party. A political reporter interviewed top Tampa area Republicans who are scared of their shock troops. Article here--
http://www.juancole.com/2012/08/tampa-area-republicans-terrified-of-tea-party-ryan-guzzo.html
The Republicans are:
It was OK when their Tea Party beast was beating up on the Democrats, but now the beast has turned against its owners and they don't like it. This reminds me of 2 Timothy 3:13--
"while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived."
The Republicans were deceiving themselves and trying to deceive the rest of us about the Tea Party--now look at the situation. Our government doesn't work because of this small minority that terrorizes the Republican Party, and in effect, everyone else.
http://www.juancole.com/2012/08/tampa-area-republicans-terrified-of-tea-party-ryan-guzzo.html
The Republicans are:
- Afraid their creation will destroy their party.
- Afraid their creation will destroy themselves, individually (would not publicly comment for fear of retribution).
- cancerous
- ignorant
- racist

Republican Abomination Part 3: The Immoral Republican Party
The party that claims to be "moral" and you are not--the arrogant Republican Party seems to have the love for prostitutes and prostitutes--both gay and straight. Many Republicans are perverts who claim the "Moral Majority" mantle while going off with prostitutes or to strip clubs.
http://www.capitolhillblue.com/node/44881
Another look, from the New York Times.
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/27/us/strip-clubs-in-tampa-are-ready-to-cash-in-on-gop-convention.html
Not only are the Republicans hypocritical with their perversions, the allegedly Christian Promise Keepers were one of the biggest tickets for Tampa strip clubs. From the NYT article:
"As further evidence of the clubs’ nonpartisan appeal, Don Kleinhans, the owner of the 2001 Odyssey, said when the Promise Keepers, a male evangelical group, came to town years ago, business was rollicking."
Rightwing "Christians" when away cheat on their wives. That is something I know God doesn't support. Yet, they will claim they are "moral" and you are not. No wonder, Americans are abandoning Christianity. With the immoral and hypocritical Republican Party and their alleged "Christian" supporters who lie, cheat and steal, what ethical person would want to be a Christian?
There is nothing Christian about cheating on your spouse or going to strip clubs, nothing at all.
In Proverbs, Chapter 5, there is a lot on prostitution and its impact. Link here--
http://www.livingbiblestudies.org/study/JT48/011.html
I don't agree with all the Dr. Joe Temple writes, but overall he points out that "God is watching". True enough. Many people, must think God is like us, that if He can't see us, He doesn't know what is going on. How wrong we are. God knows.
Temple adds onto it with Proverbs 7--
http://www.livingbiblestudies.org/study/JT48/014.html
Prostitution leads to death (moral and spiritual).
Add onto this the sin of adultery from Proverbs 6.
http://www.livingbiblestudies.org/study/JT48/013.html
Republicans are no strangers to adultery. We can name many Republicans caught cheating on their wives--former Presidential candidate, Newt Gingrich, is a classic example. Rush Limbaugh, too. Two stalwarts of the Republican machine, both immoral sinners. Yet, they are the party of "morality". They may believe so and try to convince you that is the truth, but God is watching and they are lying.

Con Artist, Terry Jones, sets Dearborn Fundraiser Date
Cult leader and con artist, Terry Jones, will be back in Dearborn for his semi-annual fundraiser. Jones claim this time is he is going to protest against Muslim "bullying in schools". This time at Edsel Ford High School. Bullying is a problem in schools throughout the nation. Which, if anyone, has been reading any media in the past few years, they would realize that. Bullying in schools, workplaces, on the road (road rage), etc. So, this is Jones excuse for his latest fundraiser. All I can say is what an ass! There are very little problems in the Dearborn school system based on religion here. Link to Jones latest fundraising event--

Actually, I am unsure of when we have had a religious problem, Muslim, Christian or otherwise. We did have former Mayor, Orville Hubbard, blatantly and racistly keep African Americans out of the community.
But Jones is a good con artist, so he will have his film crew or cut and edit what is on the local news to show he is "fighting the good fight" for Christianity. All Jones is doing is exploiting dumb, ignorant and fearful white people to give him more money so he doesn't have to get a real job.
Jones was booted out of Germany for creating a cult. Biography from Wikipedia--
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_Jones_(pastor)
From Wikipedia--
"The Gainesville Sun reported that he left the church in Germany after being accused of fraud. A leader of the Cologne church said that Jones, "didn't project the biblical values and Christianity, but always made himself the center of everything." German press agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur reported that church members said Jones ran the Cologne church like a sect leader and used psychological pressure on members, “subordinating all activities to his will.” Following Jones' departure, the CGK closed, then reopened under new, independent, leadership."
Jesus warned us about people like Jones from Matthew--

15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! God's Judgement?
Tropical Storm Isaac has put the kabosh on the first night of the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL. Link here--
http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/08/first-night-of-republican-convention-effectively-canceled-by-weather.php
I am sure it won't stop the Republicans sexual dealing with prostitutes, nothing can stop that. But, what I would like to focus on is how rightwing conservative alleged Christian Republicans seem to always make the "God's Judgement" claim when it fits their worldview. But, never make the claim when it does not. As if God is only working for the Republicans.
Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson made that claim about 9-11. And Steven Keiller believes Falwell and Robertson were right and takes a rightwing view of America in supporting Falwell and Robertson's claims. Link here--
http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2007/august/24.55.html?paging=off
Yet, Falwell and Robertson said it was judgement due to gays, feminists, the ACLU amongst others that were to blame, not the high and mighty "Godly" interpretation of Keiller in the book. Once again, rewriting history. Let me be clear, Falwell and Robertson are charlatans who lied to you and got rich off it. They don't care about you, they want your money. Interesting that if 9-11 was God's judgement, God waited till the buffoon named George W. Bush was President because the Democrat, Bill Clinton was watching Osama Bin Laden. If we want to say 9-11 was God's judgement, one of the main people being judged was George W. Bush. How Bush responded, blindly and attacked two nations with little to do with the attack also shows his and his administrations collective stupidity.
Let's be clear about God's Judgement and 9-11. If it was God's judgement, it had nothing to do with gays, feminists, the ACLU or some other conservative social issue or group they hate. It was clear, if it was God's will, what the judgement was about since the attackers hit the world financial center (World Trade Center) and worlds biggest military center (the Pentagon).
We had droughts in Texas, tornadoes and hurricanes in the South and we don't hear a peep from these alleged Christians that this is God's judgement. If the flood during Noah's time was God's judgement, I would think that God can control the weather enough were we could say it was His judgement.
So, rightwingers you can't pick and choose what you believe are God's judgement. Either they all are God's judgement or they are not. And if they are all God's judgement, then you can't claim it's because of feminists, gays or the ACLU. You are indicted as well. But, that is why you have selective judgements. Because it makes you feel superior to the rest. This attitude isn't Christian, but it is arrogant and that, unfortunately, is what you are if your beliefs are that narrow minded.

Republican Abomination Part 2
While scanning different posts on-line, I came across this one from Daily Kos--titled, "I abandoned the Republican Party"
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/08/23/1123567/-I-abandoned-the-Republican-Party
And here are the reasons why, this woman left the party--
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/08/23/1123567/-I-abandoned-the-Republican-Party
And here are the reasons why, this woman left the party--
"I abandoned the Republican Party because:
* They have lost their moral compass
* They have made Greed their god
* They have turned their backs on the less fortunate
* They are pandering only to the 1% ultra rich
* They have abandoned the middle class and 99% of the American citizens
* The support bigots and racists
* They have lost sight of the true foundation of our country's Constitution
* They are incapable of dealing in a bipartisan manner for the good of the country."
I can't argue with her reasons because they are all accurate. My only addition is they are singlehandedly destroying Christianity in this nation because they are a very hateful people on top of the above comments. Yet, in their delusions they claim it is everyone else's fault, not their hatred, lying, selling out to corporations and the wealthy to attack and destroy the rest of us.

Bryan Fischer, Lunatic and Pharisee
American Family Association spokesman is claiming that Republican Senatorial candidate, Todd Akin is like "Jesus" being attacked by the Pharisees and that Akin is under a tremendous assault, inferring that it is similar to rape.
Fischer should have NO credibility being that he has said numerous stupid things in the past and will continue to say them unto death unless he truly does find Jesus, but he is part of the lunatic Donald Wildmon's American Family Association. The AFA is just another organization fleecing Christians. I find it comical yet disturbing that one of its principle issues is "promoting a Christian ethic of decency" and they are out in full support of Akin who not only said something non-scientific, but dumb and offensive. What is "Christian" about defending someone who should be apologizing for their offensive and stupid remarks? A true Christian would be telling Akin to suck it up, apologize, you said something stupid. Unless Akin truly believes it, then he should be taken to the nut house.
But what Fischer is doing here is more than just Todd Akin. It is promoting the "victimhood" mentality amongst the people they are fleecing who already think they are under attack because we have a Black President and society is changing (I want to stress society has always been changing--but this change is because people of color, women and gays are open in society and may be working or living next to you). So, Fischer's audience are a bunch of people who are afraid and Fischer's job is to continue that fearmongering, because if he does not, he will lose his audience and won't exist.
Fischer's statements to rational people will appear insane. Jesus would have rebuked people like Fischer and Akin, but Fischer compares Akin to Jesus! Unfortunately, some (if not many) of Fischer's listeners will parrot this line. I don't know how you can compare the guy who changed the women at the well to Akin, who said one of the dumbest things on record and won't recant from his stupid remarks. There are Pharisees in this situation and it is Akin and Fischer.
When you have rightwing stalwarts like Karl Rove and Rush Limbaugh distancing themselves from Akin and even the Republican Party not agreeing, you should realize something is wrong. When the Darth Vader Party doesn't support one of their lunatics, that should open your eyes. But, not Fischer. Fischer is doubling down for Akin based on lies and bad analogies and Fischer isn't really doing this for God or Jesus or Akin, he is doing it for himself and to keep that money coming into the AFA.

Todd Akin, Moran
You read it right, moran. That is how some in the Tea Party spell "moron". There is a famous picture of a Tea Partier at a rally with this sign. Akin is the Republican "Tea Party" candidate for Senator in Missouri running against Claire McCaskill.
Todd Akin is the moran who claimed that "legitimate rape" doesn't cause pregnancy. It bothers me that Akin is running for a Senate seat and says something completely stupid, but Akin is a self proclaimed "Christian" and he is a "public face" for Christianity (I would suggest that Akin is not a Christian in any way--but a modern day Pharisee and would fit most of the criteria that God finds as an abomination in Proverbs 6:16-19). Akin has no science to back up his claim, he doesn't even have anti-science like Senator Judas Jim Inhofe from Oklahoma has when he derails climate change initiatives for money. Link to Akin dumb statement here--
http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/08/todd-akin-legitimate-rape.php?ref=fpnewsfeed
But, Akin is doubling down and not apologizing. I don't care if he quits the Senate race, to me it is more important that this moran is a public face of Christianity. Obviously, the devil chooses well when he wants to show Christianity in a negative light. Akin is giving Satan his money's worth. There are calls for Akin to step down from members of his own party--the Republicans. But, the problem with that is the Tea Party is a Nazi like cult within the Republican Party who have been getting their way for the last two years. I don't see Akin stepping down soon. And he would only be stepping down because the Republicans would potentially lose that Senate seat, for politics, not morality.
However, there are those who are championing Akin. You know who they are? Yes, some other groups who claim they are "Christians". I kid you not. "Right to Life" groups in Missouri and the hate group known as the Family Research Council support Akin. Link here--
http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/08/todd-akin-finds-defenders-among-pro-life-groups.php?ref=fpb
And "Christians" wonder why many people don't want to became Christians or that Christianity is slowly dying out in America. It's because these Pharisees, lunatics and con artists are the face of Christianity. And since they deliver millions of votes to the Republican Party, no one is stepping out and rebuking them on a major scale. If you wonder why people are losing faith in Christianity, it is because of the Todd Akin's of the world.

The Republican Abomination
I know rightwing alleged Christian nutters always want to talk about homosexuality being an "abomination" to the Lord. There are many things that are abominations to the Lord, but I want to focus specifically on Proverbs 6:16-19 and the seven abominations to the Lord.
Proverbs 6:16 There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: 17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, 19 a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
So to break it down--
Seven Abominations Unto the Lord According to Proverbs 6:16-19--
1) a proud look
2) a lying tongue
3) hands that shed innocent blood
4) a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations
5) feet that be swift in running to mischief
6) a false witness that speaketh lies,
7) and he that soweth discord among brethren.
So, if we just look at Mitt Romney, Mormon (which makes him an enemy of God already) we can check off #1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Potentially we could add #3 due to his Bain experience of closing profitable plants. I would bet some people died due to lack of health insurance or finances and some probably killed themselves due to their lack of work and income. Romney has to take some responsibility if this did occur. Romney is clearly an arrogant human being, believing that the Presidency should just be given to him. He has lied against his Republican opponents and is currently lying about President Obama.
Now, add Paul Ryan. Who is currently lying about his budget and plan for Medicare and Medicaid. Ryan is another wealthy white man who believes he and Romney should get more money while you, the rest of America should pay more. I have viewed Romney and Obama campaign commercials and statements. Overwhelmingly Romney lies and Obama is speaking the truth. But, it doesn't matter to the white "Christian" base--they hate Obama because of a few reasons, none of them logical--1) he is a Democrat and 2) he is Black. Any other arguments these delusional people have carry no weight.
This reminds me of a sermon I heard recently in which the speaker said (I paraphrase) 'In America today, people hate what is good and cling to what is evil". Which is the exact opposite of Romans 12:9 which is "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good".
We have many who claim they are "Christians" and they definitely hate what is good and cling to evil and they will be voting for the Romney/Ryan ticket this November all the while going to Church and falsely claiming they are "one of God's children".

Itching Ears
With the new (but it really should be old) revelation that David Barton is a liar, it made me remember a verse from Timothy on itching ears. It is from 2 Timothy 4:3-4 and is as follows:
"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."
This is what happens when you mix religion with politics. Which started in the early 1970's with the Schaeffer's, Richard Vigurie and many Republican politicians and donors. Ronald Reagan really exploited this group and merged the two, while George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush followed. With George W. Bush being extremely culpable in the degradation of Christianity into a form of religiosity. Frank Schaeffer, btw, has recanted and is repenting for helping to create the Religious Right. He basically calls the Religious Right a fraud, a scam and a great business making entity for those at the top which wields enormous political clout. The leaders of this fraud work hand in hand with the fraud that is called the Republican Party to lie, scare and coopt their flocks to vote Republican.
But, it doesn't just end with politics, because to continue the lies, you have to make an attempt to change the culture. How do you do that? By telling people what they want to hear, instead of the truth. The Republicans and Religious Right leaders have been doing this for a long time--at least since the 1970's when their plan was hatched.
In the past, we had crazy people. But, they were your crazy aunt or uncle and what they said most people laughed at and patted them on the head and maybe even gave them another sedative. Now, those crazy aunts (Palin, Bachmann, Foxx, etc.) and uncles (Ryan, McConnell, Gohmert, West, etc.) are the mainstays of the Republican Party. Their cousins run the network called Fox and are just as crazy as the Bachmann's and Gohmert's. So, in turn, we have a screwed up country because many people are getting what they want. They are getting myths and not the truth, but they will SCREAM at you that it is the truth. The last twist is to make them feel they are not only righteous (and Christian, but more importantly WHITE) and they are victims! Yes, our crazy relatives "Know the Truth" and we don't. But, that is what happens when you don't want to know the real truth or talk about the real truth and you want to live in your paranoid fantasy world.
Con artists and those who want to make money and obtain power will find a way to exploit you. At the same time, you want to be exploited because you really do believe the crazy things that are coming out of the mouths of fools. It struck me that so many people listen to the lies on Fox, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, etc. and believe them and it really amazes me after 10 years of tax cuts for the rich and very little job creation that Republicans and their supporters will look you straight in the eye and say--"to get the economy going we need more tax cuts for the wealthy--they create jobs, you know". When the reality is they haven't created jobs and the exact opposite is true.
To me this is another example of how the Religionists have coopted Christianity as a means to win their culture war and to obtain political and economic power. Yet, Paul knew we would have these kind of people who had "itching ears". It was in the Bible, cause the answer was right there in Timothy.

David Barton, Liar "for Christ"
Some may think I am too harsh with David Barton, believe me, I am not. Barton is one of the many on the "Christian" right who believes it is OK to "lie for Christ" to manipulate others into believing items and ideas that are not true. There is nothing Christian in what Barton does. What Barton does accomplish is to fill a void for many rightwing alleged Christians who want to believe all the lies and mythology spouted by Republicans and many "church leaders" about America and Americans perse.
Another good article on David Barton, the flim-flam artist is in the Atlantic and is linked here--
http://www.theatlantic.com/national/archive/2012/08/genuine-christian-scholars-smack-down-an-unruly-colleague/260994/
This line, however, sums up Barton's career--
"Barton's book, The Jefferson Lies, was withdrawn Thursday by Thomas Nelson, the world's largest Christian publisher. It's rare enough for a publisher to withdraw a book that has already been printed; rarer still if the book has been on The New York Times bestseller list. Thomas Nelson spokesman Casey Francis Harrell announced that the publisher had received a number of complaints that the book is inaccurate. "Because of these deficiencies, we decided that it was in the best interest of our readers to cease its publication and distribution," Harrell said."
This is the tip of the iceberg. The biggest Christian publisher is calling Barton a liar (which he is). But, don't feel sorry for Barton--his latest spate of lies is on the NYT Bestseller list in which rightwing alleged Christian Republicans and Conservatives have eaten it up and will spout it as truth--I know I hear about Barton and his "brilliance" in at least one Bible Study. The guy is a crackpot and liar. Barton has learnt one thing at least, that there are many fools who wrongly claim they are Christians not for Christ but for legitimacy for their ideas and ideals about themselves, America and how they fit into the puzzle. And those fools are picking up Barton's book, because although Barton writes the lies--they willingly believe the lies.

God Given Right to Own Guns Part 2
So, when Americans travel to other countries, they would like to still carry weapons--even concealed weapons. This incident in which an American couple from Kalamazoo, Michigan were asked if they went to the "Stampede" was met with paranoia from Walt Wawra (who happens to be a Police Officer) because he "felt threatened" and wished he had a gun to protect himself from two people asking the couple if they had been to the Stampede.
The Stampede is an annual event in Calgary, a huge event. What bothered Wawra was that the two people didn't get Wawra's "permission" to talk. Talk about someone with a problem--it isn't the Canadiens, but it is Police Officer Wawra of Kalamazoo. Article here--
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/story/2012/08/08/calgary-nose-hill-gun-stampede-police-us.html
But, it gets worse, Wawra thanks the "Lord Jesus Christ" that nothing happened. Yes, nothing happened because you weren't armed, Wawra. If you notice, nothing happened!!! Jeez, what a paranoid lunatic! And the guy is a police officer! If Wawra had a gun, something probably would have happened. Please don't invoke the name of Christ in your paranoid insanity.
Great article here.
http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/scarce/nosehillgentleman-pro-gun-letter-sparks-t-0
Wawra still thinks he was right and should have been armed. But, like a typical Republican American, he can't admit he is wrong. Wow, WWJD, pull out a Glock and start firing away? What? In the Bible, pride and arrogance are two huge sins (although Republicans always want to point out sexual sins--which many of them are involved in--but don't talk about greed, pride and arrogance).
From Proverbs 16:18--
Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.
I would hope Wawra would find humility and repent, but I am not holding my breath because people like Wawra believe they are never wrong, they just double down on their crazy.

The Callous Ticket
Serial pathological liar and Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney has decided a person who may be even more callous will be his Vice Presidential candidate. Ryan wants to take away medical coverage from the elderly and cut funding for students and the poor.
Link to Ryan Plan of cutting Food Stamps to the poor--
http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/222003-catholic-bishops-criticize-ryan-budget-cuts-to-food-stamps
And Ryan's own church, the Catholic Church, has condemned his plan because it attacks the poor, the weakest members of society.
They really should just call themselves the Judas/Baal ticket. Man, are these people some of the worst candidates the Republicans could find? I guess not when I remember who else was running. The Republican Party is the most anti-Christian, anti-human, pro-greed and destruction party I have ever seen. Wow, I wonder what all there alleged followers are going to think when they meet Jesus?
It will be something like the end of these Matthew verses. From Matthew 25:31-46--
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Here is where we get to Romney/Ryan because they want to take from those in need and have no compassion unless you are rich and white--Matthew 25: 41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ 44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ 45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ 46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life. ”
All those who think they are doing right by hurting and hating their neighbors and those in need, that is today's Republican Party. So, what will happen to these minions who sow evil and destruction and try to tell us that it is good? From Jesus in Matthew 13:36-43--
36 Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.” 37 He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. 40 “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.
Yes, for all the sins they have committed against God's people here on earth, they will be cast away into hell and they will be weeping and gnashing of teeth because today, they blindly believe they are doing God's will when it is obvious they don't have a clue as to what it is.
The Callousness of Mitt Romney
Serial pathological liar and Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney has another new commercial out claiming that President Obama and his surrogates are accusing Romney of murder! Murder, I say! In the cancer death of Joe Soptic's wife. Lying attack ad by Romney campaign here--
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-EEETo3Sqo&feature=player_embedded
The powerful ad about Joe Soptic, by Priorities USA is actually a really good one that shows Mitt Romney's callousness towards others and this is the fifth (I believe) in a series that has a main point about Romney--he doesn't care about you or your spouse or family, he just cares about himself and money. Ad can be seen here--
http://www.prioritiesusaaction.org/
The Romney camps response is to attack President Obama, Priorities USA and the Soptic's by claiming that his wife had insurance (for a short time until she was laid off) and hey, she didn't die until 2006 when Romney wasn't around. But, to actually promote these items shows what kind of uncompassionate, uncaring and callous people not only people like Romney are but the conservative "Christian" Republicans agreeing with this nonsense (and they will look you straight in the eye and tell you they are "compassionate conservatives"--tell that to Jesus when you are burning in hell).
Joe Soptic made $46,000 a year and had benefits, including health care. When Bain, under Romney, closed the plant that was making money just to make more money for already rich people like Romney--he has to take some of the responsibility of what happens. Also, when plants are shut down in communities, there is a trickle down effect. So, Romney and Bain may have even been responsible for Soptic's wife for her losing her job and thus, her health insurance.
The question for Romney and all his alleged Christian (really anti-Christian supporters) is "How much is enough?" If you are in the business of shutting down profitable businesses just to take in more cash for yourself, then I say you are responsible for what happens to people--especially in regards to their health. What ever happened to the Christian saying "I am my brother's keeper"?
I guess that is only in regards to rich white Republican men. Even the white alleged Christian working class that supports these leeches on society have been getting exploited and mistreated by their Republican masters--and they love it! I am starting to believe there are two kinds of hell, the first is the one the Republicans are making here on earth and the second is the eternal hell that will be filled with mostly Republicans after death.

David Barton, "Christian" Liar
I wrote awhile ago about "Taking Christians to the Bank" and it included David Barton, who is just a liar for "Christ". But, finally, the mainstream media--NPR--has finally outed Barton as he is--a con man and charlatan. You can listen here--
http://www.npr.org/player/v2/mediaPlayer.html?action=1&t=1&islist=false&id=157754542&m=158448820
But, Conservative "Christians" and the Republicans love Barton. Why? Because Barton's lies fill their worldviews and Barton gets rich off of it. It is amazing the contortions Barton goes through to make his claims. Yet, those who claim they are Conservative "Christians" and Republicans love the lies. How are you Christian again? Completely believing in lies to fit your worldview? Wow, God would not approve.
This is such a good NPR interview, I won't add too much more, but Barton does say early in the program that we won't "allow voluntary prayer in schools". Not true, we do allow voluntary prayers in schools. But, the catch is any religion can have them and it won't be broadcast over the intercom. Which, if you read the Bible, Jesus wouldn't want. From Jesus in Matthew 6:5--
"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full."
Either Barton is a follower of Christ or a hypocrite. By his words and actions he is the latter.

The Right's fake "War on Religion"
Serial pathological liar and Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney has a new commercial out claiming that President Obama has a new war on religion because of the Affordable Care Act. Romney claims a few things--one is it is an attack on religious organizations (in this case Catholicism) and that it was Pope John Paul II that should get credit for the fall of communism.
First, the United States and Western Europe spent billions if not trillions on an economic war of destruction against the Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc communist countries. So, I think all the veterans who served and died in Korea and Vietnam have been disrespected. And all those Vets who survived are also disrespected. But, also, Romney cuts the conservative narrative that Saint Ronald Reagan single handedly defeated the evil Russians. Boy, Romney takes pandering to a new low.
The second and bigger lie is Romney's war on religion shtick. Which rightwing alleged "Christian" nuts seem to flock to this term like moths to lights. The ACA ensures that if a religious institution owns and runs a secular business, they cannot discriminate against you because of your religion or lack thereof. So, basically Romney and his nutter base want to legalize discrimination (that is true) and use the "War on Religion" canard as a distraction.
You would think Romney's alleged "Christian base" would automatically not vote for him because he is a Mormon and already in the league with the devil. Yet, it shows you his supporters mentality. One, either they really are hateful racists and/or stupid (I think both myself) and two they are not Christians at all, but supporters of Lucifer--but they will shout at the top of their lungs how "THEY ARE SAVED" and "YOU ARE GOING TO HELL!" And, to me, we are already in a hell which these rightwing nutters created. I think about how much better the planet would be if they disappeared overnight. But, I digress. When I hear these same rightwing nutcases screaming this crap, it makes me think--if by "YOU" they mean themselves, they are probably correct, there is a good possibility they will go to hell.

Fatalism is not Faith
I have been told recently by some people claiming they are Christians that whatever the issue, it "is in God's hands". Ultimately, that is true. However, God wants us to work on the issues He gives us. Abraham, Noah, Joseph, the Old Testament Prophets, John the Baptist, Jesus, the Apostles, Paul and people throughout the ages up to Martin Luther King, Jr. and those of today didn't just throw up their hands and claim "it is in God's hands".
When people who claim they are Christian and then respond as fatalists, not only are they lying to me, they are lying to themselves. What they are really saying is "I don't want to do anything about the issue". At least come clean and don't blame your inactivity or fatalism on God.
I am pretty sure God doesn't like it when you lie about Him. You won't get a free pass on that.

Conservative Republican Men hate Women
Yesterday on August 1, 2012 a number of new regulations from the Affordable Care Act went into effect. I believe all of them were for women's health and are as follows:
1) Annual well-woman visit: preventative care visit for women to receive necessary preventative services.
2) Gestational diabetes screening: for women 24-28 weeks pregnant or who are at high-risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Creates healthier mothers and babies.
3) HPV DNA testing: Women over 30 will have access to HPV DNA testing every three years.
4) STI counseling: reduces risky behavior in women 18-44 when conducted with a doctor or nurse.
5) HIV screening and counseling: Combating a 15% rise in contraction of the disease by women.
6) Breastfeeding support, supplies, and counseling: Encourages healthier mothers and children while providing resources.
7) Contraceptive and contraception counseling: Access to FDA approved contraceptive methods, sterilization procedures, and patient education. Does not include abortifacient drugs.
8) Interpersonal/domestic violence screening and counseling: Addressing the 25% of women who will be subjected to violence from an intimate partner.
Even with these great health care coverages for women, the Republicans in Congress not only want to repeal them, they want to go even further by defunding Planned Parenthood (in which the overwhelming majority of work this organization does is for women's health--not birth control) and also want to ensure that poorer women don't get access to family planning. This attempted denial is from the political party that claims it is "pro-family". I don't know how any Conservative Republican Man who supports this can claim they love and care for women--even their wives, daughters and mothers.
Their real hatred from the ACA law is free contraception and contraception counseling (heaven forbid that we get birth control and we get educated about it--much better to stay dumb and ignornant). There is nothing Biblical about birth control. Yet, it is alleged rightwing Christian "leaders" who happen to be men outraged about this.
That's why Conservative Republicans are so screwed up, they have "morals" when it comes to others, but never themselves. And even though there lack of logic is an incredible problem, most of the time these rightwing nutcases are morally outraged at others--the "others" aren't doing anything wrong or immoral--it is all fake outrage.
I'll make a deal with you rightwing nutters. Once you stop beating off to all the pornography you have and start treating women in your life in a loving manner, I will work with you to get rid of birth control while you will work with me to get rid of pornography. You know what--you'll never get rid of your porno and you'll never stop being outraged about birth control. But you know who the sinner is in this scenario? It's not the woman getting free birth control, but is the rightwing conservative "Christian" Red Stater watching porno.
