Usually, when I hear or read about some new scientific discovery, it just proves to me more that God exists. Sub-atomic particles and how they work to the enormity of space, how everything fits together perfectly. What made me think about God and science lately was donating blood. If you research blood donation God has made a way to make the system work (if we are willing to do it). If you look at the chart on this link (to the American Red Cross) you may be amazed at who can donate to whom based on blood types but also the percentage of the population that can donate based on blood type.

And this fact sheet from the American Red Cross shows why blood is needed for donation and what it is used for. http://www.redcrossblood.org/learn-about-blood/blood-facts-and-statistics
Only 38% of the US population is eligible to donate blood for various reasons. Yet, hospitals need blood type O, which is the highest blood type in the USA. There is enough people available to provide this need for the general population if we are willing.
When I think of quarks, magnetism, lightning, the Earths rotational access around the sun which provides us with life, the worlds geography which if we treated it right and other humans right would provide enough sustenance for everyone on the planet, I think that this is a world created by God. And a universe created by God.
Christians should embrace science because it shows the brilliance of God. This link to a short ad by the BBC shows some of that brilliance.
