This may happen in other nations, but I find here in the United States of America a continuing struggle between the charlatans who claim they are Christians and the atheists. It's as if there is no place for people who truly are Christians and are trying to follow Christ. Now, this is not true, however, if you read the media, go on social media sites, etc., typically there are two audiences pitted against each other--the fake Christians and the atheists.
So, who are the fake Christians? Franklin Graham, Bryan Fischer, James Dobson (all men, so far, lol), David Barton, Focus on the Family, Family Research Council, Don Wildman, American Family Association, Pat Robertson and his 700 Club, the Moral Majority or what's left of it. So, you get my drift. Also, include on this list any personality from FOX News. You can add Glenn Beck to the list in a way that he is trying to recruit these alleged Christians to become Mormons and uses a lot of Christianity in an attempt to do just that.
We have these lunatics on TV, radio and Internet just spouting hatred and division, falsely claiming they are Christians and then we have the atheists as the alternative in "pushing back" on these nutcases. Now, I don't mind the pushback, what I do mind is the fix that you either have rightwing grifters and liars as "Christians" or you have atheists as the Two Options promoted in American media.
Rarely do you see a Jim Wallis or Frank Schaeffer. You don't even see a John MacArthur or John Piper or Beth Moore or Eric Mason or Francis Chen or the many other Christian "leaders" who give a truly Christian viewpoint and not a political viewpoint disguised with Christianease.
This is a continuing struggle because throughout the ages, the economic and political elite took over religion (prior to Jesus--Pharisees and Saducees) and have resumed control after Jesus. Their goals have always been the same, power and control. We have that same issue today as was back in Jesus day and age. It has not gone away.
I guess this is nothing new--that you have always had fakers use Christianity as a way to become rich and powerful. But, it still makes my blood boil when I see and read these idolaters use the name of Christ to promote their agendas and to raise money. They are the main reason people are driven away from Christ.

What's wrong with Conservative Christians?
Well, they get both the terms "conservative" and "Christian" wrong. They think it is OK to hate people who are not like themselves (when you are actually supposed to love your neighbor). From Mark 12:31--The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” I guess if all your neighbors are rich, elderly, white and cranky, you don't really have a problem, right? Wrong. This doesn't give people license to hate.
So, the Christian part is wrong, but what about conservative? Not really sure, they seem to follow the trends of what is called conservative ideology. But, the problem with today's alleged conservatives is they don't want any change unless it is change moving backwards and not forwards. So, really they are not true conservatives because they don't mind change, they want slow change. They are really reactionaries. These people want to return us to a time that didn't exist (it only exists in the fantasies of their minds which are propagated by the rightwing reactionary media that they watch and listen). So, no they are not conservatives.
A good example of how they are not both is this article from the NY Magazine about the Conservative Caribbean cruise. A cruise of righwing nutcases who believe liberals are fascists. The irony here being that these people truly are on the road to fascism as they meet all 14 defining characteristics of it. Yet, many of them are also mentally ill or disturbed and don't understand that they are projecting their characteristics onto others.
Anyway, read the NY Magazine article and you'll find that these people, many who would claim they are Christian, hate others, won't work to include minorities in their party, believe President Obama was sent to destroy America (yes, the guy who saved it from economic ruin actually was sent to "destroy America") and much more. And these are the nuts who will go crazy if you don't say "Merry Christmas".

Larry Pratt--using God for cover to murder
Larry Pratt is leader of the crazy rightwing Gun Owners of America. Pratt and his organization believe that the National Rifle Association has sold out the gun rights movement. The NRA, who has successfully lobbied against gun control and for semi and automatic weapons. Due to their political clout, there have been numerous mass shootings in America. And according to Pratt and the GOA, the NRA has sold out the gun rights movement. I can't make this stuff up.
However, I wanted to focus on Pratt's alleged Christianity. He has a long, rambling piece on how God wants us to be armed. Pratt does the usual, takes the Bible out of context, equates the USA and the Constitution with the Bible and uses the Old Testament verses when people where under attack by other nations as legitimacy that we should be able to have any kind of weapon we want. Pratt reminds me of the verse in Proverbs 12:15 about fools. He is doing backflips to promote his pro-gun agenda and will use anything, including God to promote his viewpoint.
There is another issue with Pratt in that he apparently has no issue with courting extremists--from Wikipedia-

This seems in contradiction to Romans 13 in which we are told to obey our government and pay taxes! So, threatening politicians because you don't like their positions would be un-Biblical.
And, instead of re-evaluating themselves or going to the Lord in prayer, Pratt and the Gun Owners of America use the "blame the victim response" in the wake of the latest mass shooting spree. The paraniod fantasy that if someone would have been armed, less or no people would have been killed may make for great movies, but just isn't true.

This just shows the lack of logic (or stupidity) in the organization. Because all you need to add to each sentence is "people with guns...kill people"... and people with pencils misspell words and drunk people in cars cause drunk driving and Rosie O'Donnell eating too much mad her fat. The GOA acts as if there is no trigger, so to speak, for any of these things to happen. There is a cause and effect and all of them include human interaction. It's not as if guns hang out by themselves, minding their own business and then one gun decides to go on a tirade. It's due to allowing basically any unstable person to be armed to the teeth by organizations such as Pratt's GOA.
In the end, we should realize what Pratt truly is and that is the Biblical version of a fool.

Mike Huckabee makes Bigger Ass out of self--as if it's possible
So, I am watching Media Matters piece on Mike Huckabee allegedly "walking back" his lunacy from Neil Cavuto's show the prior day. Watch the piece. He is neither walking back his comments and makes attempts at blaming "the culture" and he "had guns when he was a kid". WTF! Yes, WTF!
When the lady co-host talked about how the culture was really good in Newton, Connecticut and Huckabee was off base, he made a lame claim that it wasn't Newton, it was the rest of society. WTF? The mass shootings happened in Newton, Connecticut, you moron!
Huckabee then digressed to how when he was a kid they "brought guns to school" (I don't believe it) and that it was basically a normal thing to do. Let's see, Huckabee is 67 years old. So, he would have "brought guns to school" during the late 60's and early 1970's? I find it hard to believe. But, lets say it was for hunting--which would probably be the only reason and during hunting season. Huckabee wasn't bringing in automatic or semi-automatic assault weapons to school.
If Huckabee was truly a Christian as he claims, he would repent. Say he made a mistake, this was a tragedy, he feels for the people of Newton, Connecticut and quietly get out of the spotlight. Instead, Huckabee is doubling down on his lies and stupidity--all for media attention. This is why many people don't like "Christians" and don't believe in Christianity. Because we have power and money grubbing media whores and blowhards who claim they are Christian and are put on the TV, radio and Internet and all they do is disgrace God.

That is called Separation of Church and State and is part of the First Amendment to the US Constitution.

That is one of the reasons he will lie, cheat and shill for any organization he believes will help him get and keep power. That is why he has a show on Fox. But really, people need to rely on the words of the Bible and in this case, the Gospel when trying to deal with Huckabee on his alleged spiritual level. From Luke 13--
"13 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. 2 Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? 3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

GOP is running out of "White Christian Americans"
Oh boy, nothing says fascism more than the current GOP. Yes, the current GOP has for years solely seeked out the White (allegedly Christian) American for its source of strength. They did this by constantly lying to the public, through its mouthpiece Fox News which culminated on the embarrassing election night loss. It was embarrassing to them, not to America because not only did they lie so much, but also because their people want to believe in these lies.
Now, the GOP has finally figured out they have "run out of white voters". So, for years the GOP has lied and spewed hatred to get that White "Christian" vote so they could run America--not lead America--run America into the ground for the wealthy ruling class at the expense of everyone else--including the working class fools who believe in the rightwing propaganda.
So, now the GOP has to come up with a "strategy" to try to include some of these others (non-white and definitely non-Christian others) to vote for their party of hatred. This should be fascinating to watch and it will be interesting to see Roger (Joseph Goebbels) Ailes twist this into how all you "White Christian loving Americans" who we convinced you to hate these other terrible "non-Christian others" to "All you White Christian loving Americans need to love and embrace or at least tolerate these non-Christian others".
It will be a great experiment in social psychology. Fox and their ilk have been successful in their modern day Milgram Experiment and their classical conditioning of their viewers using the ideas of Ivan Pavlov and his Pavlov's Dog Experiment. So, what kind of social psychology will the rightwing propagandists use to try to brainwash this time?
Since most of them are doing Satan's work, I would suspect any and all options are open. It's really hard when you have been living a lie and promoting a lie to get out of your behavior. The door is always open to come to Christ. I suspect their love of the world is more important than their love of Jesus or their fellow man. Stay tuned, the mental gymnastics should get to Olympic sized level in due time.

Fischer & Perkins: Hateful Rightwing Christians
Alleged rightwing "Christians" are gloating over a bill in Uganda that would lead to state murder of homosexuals. Hatemongers Bryan Fischer and Tony Perkins, both lunatics believe it is a good law and the way to go in the USA. Further inspection of the potential Ugandan Law shows it is very similar to the laws of Nazi Germany in which Fischer and Perkins would fit in quite well, I imagine.
Seems that these alleged Bible thumpers have forgotten what Jesus said the two greatest commandments were:
Matthew 22:34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[c] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
You are supposed to love your neighbor, not hate people you disagree with or don't like their particular "morality". Yet what hatemongers like Fischer and Perkins are doing is happening in conservative churches throughout the USA.
But, for some reason Fischer and Perkins are stuck in the Old Testament and don't seem to understand or comprehend (actually they don't want to understand or comprehend) Jesus' teaching about forgiveness or God's mercy and grace. They are stuck in vengeance against a group of people with very little rights and less sympathy. So, this just shows what kind of anti-Christian bullies these hateful lunatics are. When Fischer and Perkins come out for laws in the USA about stoning adulterers, liars, gossipers, etc., they may actually have a point. Right now, their only point is bloodlust against homosexuals. And that is not something Jesus would do, but something Satan would do.

One of the many reasons, I don't believe rightwingers when they say they are Christian
This is a link to a hate crime that occurred on Thanksgiving Day. Be aware, there are graphic pictures in this piece. There are many "conservative Christian" organizations (Family Research Institute as an example) that promote hatred of one group or another which is not Christian. Then there are rightwing "Christians" who act upon this hatred and lead to the brutal beating of this young lady. So, when rightwingers claim they are Christian and are so hateful that their hatred, lies and neglect lead to brutal attacks and many actually blame the victim or cheerlead--you ain't Christian.
You can believe your lies all you want and you can tell it to Satan when you are burning in hell. You still have time to repent, but it appears you love to hate, that is what you love.

Thanksgiving, give thanks to Native Americans
Americans celebrated Thanksgiving and asked for God's blessing. How many thanked the Native Americans who made Thanksgiving possible almost 400 years ago?
I doubt very few. But, it was a Native American tribe that befriended the Pilgrims and Squanto, who was forced into slavery by a White Man who showed true Christian love and forgiveness by helping the floundering Pilgrims:
"Squanto, a member of the Pawtuxet tribe who had been kidnapped by an English sea captain and sold into slavery before escaping to London and returning to his homeland on an exploratory expedition. Squanto taught the Pilgrims, weakened by malnutrition and illness, how to cultivate corn, extract sap from maple trees, catch fish in the rivers and avoid poisonous plants. He also helped the settlers forge an alliance with the Wampanoag, a local tribe, which would endure for more than 50 years and tragically remains one of the sole examples of harmony between European colonists and Native Americans."
Naturally, the Native Americans were paid back by the White Man with treachery, disease and outright murder. History and non-whites and biological warfare against Native Americans.
This was carried out by good "White Christian Men". When people keep telling me how blessed America is, I wonder what are they smoking. Our White Christian Male leaders have been destroying Native Americans, African Americans, imprisoning Japanese Americans, mistreated Chinese and Latino Americans all in the "name of God" and somehow we are great and exceptional? At what? Killing and lying for our lifestyles? And our foreign policy is worse than our domestic one. So, if we were honest with ourselves and with our Maker, we would spend Thanksgiving Day thanking the Native Americans who helped the Pilgrims survive and we would ask for forgiveness for our sins and theirs.

Frank Schaeffer has been repenting for his actions and trying to make things right by explaining exactly what the Religious Right is about. However, Glenn Beck, IMO, has figured out that he can capitalize on rightwing Christians false nostalgia about America and their blind patriotism, actually you may call it nationalism.
Beck is promoting his brand of nationalism in his promotion of false history and paranoid fantasies. Beck is a big idol of The American Tea Party which are a modern day version of the Brown Shirts that helped Adolf Hitler rise to power. What Beck is doing through TV, radio and the Internet is creating a modern day form of Nazism basing it on his false and idolized Americanized culture. This false culture is sucking in numerous rightwing Christians who want to believe in a fantasy America and Glenn Beck serves it up to them.
Beck has an even bigger play. He is not just playing on feelings, paranoias and fears of rightwing Christians, he is making an attempt to incorporate them into the Mormon religion. How is he doing this? Well, by promoting clearly Mormon ideology unto the unknowing public in the form of Tim Ballard's "The Covenant" which was formerly known as "The American Covenant" and was a mishmash of Mormon and American history.

God's Wisdom and Our Foolishness
I remember when perhaps our worst President in history, George W. Bush, was running for President in 2000 how many alleged Christians were calling him the next "Moses". I kid you not. http://www.sbl-site.org/publications/article.aspx?articleId=151
Yet, what I didn't realize was that this was Bush's own delusion promoted in the press and taken as "fact" by rightwing Christians. Bush was going to be a "tax-cutting" Moses leading his people (obviously the rich) to the Promised Land. Anyway, God gave these alleged Christians the leader they wanted--not once, but twice (and both times in dubious manners--stopping the Florida recount which would have gave Al Gore the Presidency and then voter fraud in Ohio in 2004--you could actually say God has a sense of humor in that Bush was allowed to win twice by cheating thus showing us what kind of "Christian leader" we were getting).
So, "Christians" got their man and he was shown to be a complete fool. Unaware and uncaring against al-queda, we were attacked and thousands lost their lives. He cut taxes for the wealthy and spent trillions on wars (one which should have been illegal in Iraq) and gave military contracts to wealthy buddies at Halliburton (Dick Cheney, the VP of the USA at the time). He could care less about Hurricane Katrina or its victims and basically allowed Wall Street to bankrupt our country before he was through. A partial list here--

These should all be good things supported by most Americans, right? Not the Christian Right. They would have rather elected a Mormon cult leader in Mitt Romney who wanted to be more extreme than George W. Bush than have Barack Obama as President.
In the end, if you are a Christian and believe that God is "in control of everything" then you should believe that Barack Obama was God's choice, not once, but twice. And, if rightwing Christians truly sat back and thought about it, you may come to the conclusion that God is once again showing you His wisdom and your foolishness.
God gave you your President in George W. Bush who turned out to be a clown and terrible leader. Now, he is giving you a President in Barack Obama who you hate and he is extremely competent and an excellent leader. If that doesn't show you God's wisdom and our foolishness, nothing will.

Conservatives want to be lied to
If you know conservatives, you pretty much know my title is dead accurate. Conservatives live in a fantasy world that has expanded exponentially due to Fox "News", rightwing radio and a host of conservative and rightwing organizations that create their own false reality and ship it to our conservative friends and many conservative enemies. I say enemies not because I want them to be my enemy, but they are so off the deep end on Fox and rightwing crack and refuse to get clean, that until they truly have a "come to Jesus moment" they will never get better. They will harm you and me and themselves and don't care. That is why they are our enemies. Many of, if not all of conservatives believed Mormon cult leader, Mitt Romney, was cruising to a popular and electoral vote landslide. Why? Well because of stuff like this--

Franklin Graham halfway to hell or more!
Franklin Graham is the perfect grifter. He does as much as he has to do with "good works" to get a lot of backers and it doesn't hurt that his dad is Billy Graham. A grifter is a con artist or a swindler and Franklin Graham fits that perfectly.

Alleged heathens re-elect Christian President
Thank God President Obama was re-elected yesterday. Americans had a clear choice of a Christian President who cares about the nation versus a Mormon Republican candidate who cares about corporate profits and making money at all costs--and that includes you, your retirement savings, pension, medical care and daily needs.
Yet, the Christian Right went all in for the Mormon over the true Christian in Barack Hussein Obama. Amazing to me the lies these alleged "Christians" will tell their flock and the lies that these in the flock believe. I will also be amazed on Judgement Day if any of these alleged "Christians" will be in Heaven (i personally doubt it, but it is not my call).
But, who re-elected the Christian running for President? The alleged non-Christians. These are the people the rightwing tells its people that are the "others" (they are not like them, they are not true Christians). When, in fact, it is the exact opposite. The rightwing racist, corporate tools against the average American, the hatemongers and fearmongers are not Christian. They are something, but Christian is not one of them. The organizations that continue to scare these people, who could actually be real Christians someday if they broke out of their love of hate & fear & white superiority, these organizations know that and make their living off of hate and division.
It will be a great day when all these "Christian" grifters are gone. Let's hope it starts today.

Hell in a Handbasket
"Hell in a Handbasket" is a term frequently used by conservative "Christians" I know. It is interesting to me because many of them will outright tell you that yes, Mitt Romney is lying, but they are still voting for him. They really do mental gymnastics to explain why they are voting for someone they admit is a liar. Let's be clear on this--these are white people who claim they are Christian and will be voting for a lying Mormon.
That is a double negative if you are a Bible believer. Supporting a liar (not supported Biblically) and supporting a non-Christian against a Christian (not supported Biblically). So, in a sense I agree we are going to "Hell in a Handbasket" because these alleged Republican Conservative "Christian" voters are trying their best to put us there. And they don't have any valid reasons to do so or any Biblical reasons supporting their actions.
But, to them, just as the Pharisees in Jesus day, they are the ones who are supporting and protecting religion. Yes, their religion of wealth and powerful priviledge for white people. Nothing has changed since Jesus' time, except now instead of Pharisee they are called Republican.

Another Double Standard
In Dearborn this past summer, a Catholic priest was arrested driving drunk and naked in the city. His defense was he claimed he was "too hot". And the judge keeps postponing the priests hearing. See article--

Now, this just makes me think. If it was a Muslim Imam who was driving around drunk and naked we would have had cult leader Terry Jones & his band of toadies here at the hearing for a media circus, Fox News would be here along with other rightwing media blasting the Imam and Islam about their immorality and "what are they trying to do to my children" blather. It would be non-stop on the right about the horrors of the Imam and Islam.
But it is a white Catholic priest that basically has "vote for Romney/Ryan" signs in front of the church (you know the "Protect Religious Freedom" signs which really mean let us discriminate against women). So, the only media coverage is the local newspaper.
I would suspect with all the coverage of Catholic priest pedophiles this would be another story to add onto that list. But, it is election season and the rightwing is trying to court the Catholic vote, so it is a "non-story".
Yet, if it was an Imam, it would be on 24/7 on rightwing media because we all know how President Obama is a secret Kenyan Socialist Communist Muslim and he probably personally got the Imam into the country and bought him the alcohol while telling him in America, it is OK to drive around naked--we love it! (at least that is how it would be presented in rightwing world).
So, anyone who tunes into rightwing media and believes it is just willingly believing a lie. Here are some great Scripture verses on lies and liars--

Racist Republicans
Colin Powell endorsed President Obama for a second term this week on CBS. It is a very eloquent and intelligent endorsement for a second term. You should be impressed that Powell looks at the issues and makes a decision instead of blindly following "the party". It is that mentality of blindly following the party or leader that eventually turns countries into authoritarian dictatorships. With the current Republican and Tea Party they are well on their way to create another Nazi Germany or Stalinist Russia.

Tea Party Lunacy
Tea Party and Republican Senatorial Candidate, Richard Mourdock, from Indiana, claimed that God wants rape pregnancies to happen. Link here--

I think God would be surprised since God gave us free will to make decisions while we are here on earth. Mourdock obviously believes we are pre-programmed god-bots who are doing exactly everything God has programmed us to do. Kind of strange since God has warned us since the beginning not to sin starting with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. God provided them and us with free will. Adam and Eve made the decision to disobey God. Cain made the decision to disobey God when God told him that "sin was crouching at your door" and "will devour you".
If you read Scripture, you will notice and understand that God provides us with a brain to make decisions on our own. We can go alone or we can include God. Hateful Conservatives
Paul Ryan, the Rightwing love flame of conservatives in the USA forced his way into a soup kitchen for a photo-op after the kitchen was already closed. Ryan did it for political points. As pointed out here--

So, Dinesh D'Souza was having an affair while still married. I guess I shouldn't find this surprising in rightwing world. Con Artist Jones Follow-Up
The con artist, bully and grifter known as "Pastor Terry Jones" biannual hate fundraiser in Dearborn, Michigan has come and gone. All Jones did was make an ass out of himself, but it will be reported by his toadies (Warren Sapp) about how "courageous" Jones was to stand up for "free speech" against "Muslims and Sharia Law". All crap.
All Jones did was the following--
1) Come to a highschool to try to cause a disruption for the media (the media bit, but the school did not--that's one of the many reasons our media sucks--it gives lunatics, con artist, liars, cheaters and grifters, to name a few a pedestal and camera)
2) Then Jones wanted to meet with students boarding buses--which was denied (just think about the safety issues involved here). Do you think you or I could host a media event using teenagers as props and the local school system would allow it? No way! Actually, if we did it on our own we would probably be arrested.
3) And, of course, Jones is so "courageous" he wanted to carry a handgun--which was also denied. Add this onto #2 and anyone else would have been arrested.
But, even though Jones and his imported crew of toadies received special treatment from Dearborn and the police they are crying "free speech" because they weren't allowed to do everything they wanted with their planned spectacle in Dearborn. I am guessing there will have to be some very creative editing of this video for Jones to fleece the idiots that keep giving him money. Link here--

All Jones did was the following--
1) Come to a highschool to try to cause a disruption for the media (the media bit, but the school did not--that's one of the many reasons our media sucks--it gives lunatics, con artist, liars, cheaters and grifters, to name a few a pedestal and camera)
2) Then Jones wanted to meet with students boarding buses--which was denied (just think about the safety issues involved here). Do you think you or I could host a media event using teenagers as props and the local school system would allow it? No way! Actually, if we did it on our own we would probably be arrested.
3) And, of course, Jones is so "courageous" he wanted to carry a handgun--which was also denied. Add this onto #2 and anyone else would have been arrested.
But, even though Jones and his imported crew of toadies received special treatment from Dearborn and the police they are crying "free speech" because they weren't allowed to do everything they wanted with their planned spectacle in Dearborn. I am guessing there will have to be some very creative editing of this video for Jones to fleece the idiots that keep giving him money. Link here--

Focus on the Family--a bunch of grifters
I wrote earlier in the year about Focus on the Family's lies in 2008 about how Obama would destroy America. Focus on the Family was wrong on all 34 predictions and yet will not apologize for their outright campaign of lies and fear. Bill Maher called them grifters--which I believe to be true of Focus on the Family and many, many rightwing alleged Christian organizations.

Willfully Blind Republicans
Not only are Republicans willfully blind to all the lies their candidate, Mitt Romney and his VP candidate, Paul Ryan say--they don't care. What makes matters even worse, when Romney set a record pace of lies during the first presidential debate--he got more support amongst the Republican Party and uncommitted voters.

Satan Spawn Jones protests at Dearborn High School
Demon spawn Terry Jones, alleged pastor of an alleged Christian Church (really a cult leader and media whore) held a pitiful "protest" at Edsel Ford High School in Dearborn today. He was scheduled to promote his hatred for a full 3 hours, but left after an hour and a half in which God actually told Jones "goodbye" with a good 10 minute downpour.
He brought his toady, Warren Sapp (not the NFL player) along in his demonic endeavors. Jones was allegedly protesting bullying at the school of Muslim students vs. non-Muslim students in which both the school and students say is a bunch of BS. Yet, that doesn't fit well with Jones intent to fleece ignorant backers of money.

Terry Jones "hateraiser" this week
Cult leader Terry Jones is coming to Dearborn, MI for his bi-annual "hateraiser". Jones comes to Dearborn to get media attention and video in which he can splice and misinform donors about how Jones is "fighting Sharia Law" and "Islamic extremists" in America. The irony, is Jones is a hatemonger towards Muslims and is the extremist. I would think the FBI would have ferretted out most "Islamic extremists" in the Dearborn area by now.

How Rightwing "Christian" groups make money
The "Bible Believers" came to Dearborn earlier in the year as a fundraising effort. That is what some rightwing alleged "Christian" groups do. It is easy to go to Dearborn, Michigan in the USA instead of really putting your religiosity on the line and moving to the Middle East.
Instead of really putting themselves out there for their beliefs (it's not Christianity, I can tell you that), they come to Dearborn where they have police protection and if they don't get treated the way they want, they sue. The entire purpose is fundraising. They bring cameras and videotape what allegedly happened (the videos are selectively edited because they don't show the pighead on the stick and they don't show these "loving Christians" yelling insults at the people they are supposedly trying to convert). So there is nothing about them regarding Christian love.

But what happened in a nutshell is this--these out of town troublemakers come to Dearborn, Michigan and wanted police protection to make trouble. These "Bible Believers" insult and talk hatefully to local Muslims and others who are enjoying the festival--solely to get on film for fundraising and to eventually sue local authorities (this is their game and it is satanic, in my opinion). So, when these alleged "Christian" troublemakers begin insulting the Muslims and people respond, they claim the authorities didn't protect them. Let me get this straight--you come from out of town with the sole intention of pissing off a group of people who are enjoying a festival and then you sue because they respond to your insults? Isn't this the dumbest stuff you have ever heard?
One of the things I find funny, is the out of town troublemakers claim that the Muslim's were using "Shariah Law" because they responded to the insults. Hey, Bible Believers, you are in the USA and were treated by our laws. If you were in Syria, you would be decapitated--in public. That is Sharia Law. Poor angry white male "Bible Believers", you come to Dearborn to raise monies to do your evil works and when people respond you cry like a baby. What ever happened to what Jesus said, about "turning the other cheek"? Of course not, because you and your ilk aren't about God, Jesus or the Bible, you are about money and arrogance.

Catholic Hypocrisy on "Protect Religious Freedom"
I see yard signs, usually at Catholic churches that state "Protect Religious Freedom". The idea that President Obama isn't protecting "religious freedom" is another lie by rightwingers because they are upset that women may (I repeat may) get contraception from their insurance company health care policy. "Values Voters"--a Collection of Bigots and Haters
If you have watched or read any of the Family Research Council's "Values Voters Summit", you would easily recognize why the Southern Poverty Law Center calls them a "hate group". That's what their "Values Voters Summit" was, a festival of lying and hatred. It is apparent there are no values here.
So, for example, the FRC brings in an "ex-terrorist" Kamel Saleem (who pals around with terrorists?) to claim that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is "planning on shutting down churches" and professors are basically working with terrorists. No truth to it, but that's what the Values Voters want. They are a hateful, bigoted group and the bigger the lie the better.
Rep. Steven King claimed President Obama and "his leftist minions" are trying to undermine America at every turn. What? The Republican House hasn't passed one piece of legislation that would help create jobs since 2010 and there claim to fame is to do nothing in an effort to defeat Obama in 2012. That has caused more harm to this country than Obama has done (which I can't think of too much that has harmed this country under Obama--saved the economy, made us safer, etc).
Dinesh D'Souza got to spout off some more of his "intellectual stupidity" by claiming Obama has no interest in Civil Rights. D'Souza is getting rich off of white people's ignorance.
Romney security advisor, Walid Phares, claims Obama has no interest in the War on Terror anymore. That is odd since Obama got Bin Laden and many more of al-Queda, quite often using illegal drone strikes which the Republicans and Values Voters love. I don't get why people love these liars so much, but it must be due to their hatred of the Black Man in the White House.

Probably the most accurate quote of the event was from Rick Santorum who said--"We will never have the elite, smart people on our side". They have the most elite with Romney, Koch, Adelson, Bush,etc. The accuracy is they don't have too many smart people on their side.

Gary Bauer, another "Christian" Liar
Gary Bauer calls himself a Christian. Yet, when you see he was the President of the very political righwing Family Research Council, it makes sense he would be a liar. That is what the FRC does--is lie a lot to scare mostly white people about the evils of ....(fill in the blank) and send us a check so we can fight against it!

It is true in this country is there is voter fraud, but it is rare. The real problem when it comes to voting is full scale election fraud and it is perpetrated by Republicans against mostly Democratic voters. Republicans will purge hundreds of thousands to millions of eligible voters off the rolls to try to ensure victory. However, when less than 20 cases of "voter fraud" turn up, THAT is the problem according to people like Bauer.

And those "Values Voters" attendees will eat this stuff up. You know why? They love the lies because they believe the lies. I know some "Values Voters" and they believe every crazy rightwing lie you can make up---and they will give the liars money--lots of it.
Sometimes I feel sorry for the fools who give money to people like Bauer whose sole job is to create controversy and disruption to be in the limelight and promote themselves. These "Values Voters" have numerous avenues not to be blinded and hateful. Yet, they voluntarily appear to be exactly that. I remember being in a Bible Study in 2008 and the Values Voters Class was offered and I took it. One of the values I thought was important was jobs and the economy. You know what? The trained "leader" of the group didn't think so, even though George W. Bush and the Republicans crashed our economy. You know what was important? The same cultural hot button issues that always were important--abortion, gays, etc. And this was the exact template the Family Research Council was sending to Churches throughout the USA.
And these will be the same issues for each election until the money for the Family Research Council and other fake Christian groups whose sole purpose is to create division and fundraise dry up.

This post discusses how Jones is culpabale for the actions of others based on his lies and deceit regarding the Islamic faith. Juan Cole adds more to the story and the people that Jones inflamed in Egypt and Libya are....wait for it...just like Jones. Extremist fanatics who want to remain relevant in their culture.

Abdallah had this fraudulent film shown on TV, why? Knowing it would inflame emotions. Jones burns a Koran or comes to Dearborn, MI to "protest" against Islam, why? To inflame emotions. Once again, if Jones really wants to challenge Islam, he should take up residence in a Middle Eastern country with a high Islamic population. He won't. Jones is a coward and charlatan. He'd rather be in the USA under the protection of our "socialist" government where he is free to say and sue whoever he wants because as the flim-flam man Jones is, he knows there are a lot of people who are afraid out there and Jones knows how to touch those buttons to get their money. That is one way the devil works.

Satan Spawn, Terry Jones continues his devilish work
The US Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, was murdered yesterday by Islamic zealots. What drove them to do this? An anti-Mohamed film promoted by satan spawn and cult leader, Terry Jones. Jones is in no way shape or form a Christian. He is fulled with hate and in love with power or money.

There are some media outlets stating that Jones is partially responsible for the deaths (more than Stevens was murdered) and I agree. Mediate disagrees with my position here--

Hmm...so if Jones film wasn't promoted or released, you would have Stevens alive. So, there is a direct link. Let's not be stupid here. Jones whole purpose is to inflame crazy people in the Middle East to make himself "relevant", but also to raise money.
Jones is a self-serving megolomaniac. He does the work of Satan creating havoc and strife. It is clear Jones is a problem. Keeping us Safe
It always amazes me the illogic of those who claim President George W. Bush and the Republican Party kept us "safe". Conservative "Christians" are not being honest with themselves. This is too bad, Satan has them hooked on hatred and they refuse to give it up.

Dobson had "Obama 2012", D'Souza has "Obama 2016"
I don't like Dr. James Dobson, he is a liar and charlatan. He is a power hungry money grubber that got rich off of scaring the shit out of conservative Christians. In 2008, Dobson penned the "Letter from 2012 in Obama's America" which was another piece of trash fully meant to continue to scare the shit out of any conservative Christian who may have been thinking about voting for Barack Obama due to the failure of the "second coming of Moses" (George W. Bush--who was promoted by Dobson).

First off, Dobson makes claims about the "far left". Where are they at? We haven't had a "left" in this country since the 1960's and many of those leftists are now conservative voters. President Obama's policies and governing are reminiscent of Ronald Reagan--the Republican people like Dobson love! If Obama was on the "left" he would have fought for national single payer health care instead of pushing us all into the insurance industry for our health care needs.
Dobson is wrong on just about everything here--Supreme Court? Wrong. Freedom of Religion? Wrong. Abortion? Wrong. Gun rights? Wrong. Education? Wrong. Military Policy? Thank God Dobson is wrong on this front. Hey Dobbie, Osama Bin Laden is dead. Health Care? Wrong. Taxes? Wrong. Talk radio censorship? Wrong. Christian Publishers? Wrong. Prosecution of Bush officials? Wrong, but the Bush officials should have been prosecuted and sent to the Hague War Crimes Tribunal.
The only thing Dobson got somewhat right is that gay rights have improved in America under President Obama. Dobson went into a long rant on homosexuals, he wrote so much about them, at the end I believe Dobson is one.
Maybe if Dobson blamed Republicans and conservatives about their high usage and viewing of pornography, he may have some respect. But Dobson just blames "liberals" and the "culture", etc. Yet doesn't seem to explain why Red States have the highest usage. Maybe because they are his financial base?
So, Dr. James Dobson, you put out a letter to make people afraid of candidate Obama and you were WRONG. How about showing some repentance and putting out a 16-page apology letter to the President? At least then we would see some form of repentance. I don't expect that to be forthcoming because you are just another rightwing crackpot making money off of people by scaring them with your "expertise".
But Dobson is what is wrong with the "religious Right". He makes stuff up and has media control to promote his lies. Many people who genuinely want to follow Christ are driven off the mark by people like Dobson who take these innocent people seeking a Savior and brainwashing them into being rightwing political tools with very little knowledge of the Bible. Prosecution of Bush officials? Wrong, but the Bush officials should have been prosecuted and sent to the Hague War Crimes Tribunal.
The only thing Dobson got somewhat right is that gay rights have improved in America under President Obama. Dobson went into a long rant on homosexuals, he wrote so much about them, at the end I believe Dobson is one.
Maybe if Dobson blamed Republicans and conservatives about their high usage and viewing of pornography, he may have some respect. But Dobson just blames "liberals" and the "culture", etc. Yet doesn't seem to explain why Red States have the highest usage. Maybe because they are his financial base?
So, Dr. James Dobson, you put out a letter to make people afraid of candidate Obama and you were WRONG. How about showing some repentance and putting out a 16-page apology letter to the President? At least then we would see some form of repentance. I don't expect that to be forthcoming because you are just another rightwing crackpot making money off of people by scaring them with your "expertise".
But Dobson is what is wrong with the "religious Right". He makes stuff up and has media control to promote his lies. Many people who genuinely want to follow Christ are driven off the mark by people like Dobson who take these innocent people seeking a Savior and brainwashing them into being rightwing political tools with very little knowledge of the Bible. They think they are Christians, but they are not and Dobson and his ilk are to blame.
