Keeping us Safe

It always amazes me the illogic of those who claim President George W. Bush and the Republican Party kept us "safe".  They actually mean after 9-11 and somehow are in denial that the worst terrorist attack in US history happened under their watch.  This link gives a good explanation of this bizarre logic--

And this article by Kurt Eichenwald in the New York Times on September 11, 2012 blows the lid more off of the Bush Administration and Republican lie they "protected" us.  It seems there is even more information on how the Bush Administration had advance warning and ignored it.

It is odd to me that the President (Bush) who didn't keep us safe is somehow glorified as a protector and the one who has been keeping us safe (Obama) is presented as some kind of evil, foreign overlord by conservatives who claim they are Christian.  Well, they are wrong.  It is obvious to me that when God puts someone into power that protects us and you are Christian, you should notice it.  Conservative "Christians" are not being honest with themselves.  This is too bad, Satan has them hooked on hatred and they refuse to give it up.

So, thank you God and President Obama for keeping us safe.
