How Rightwing "Christian" groups make money

The "Bible Believers" came to Dearborn earlier in the year as a fundraising effort.  That is what some rightwing alleged "Christian" groups do.  It is easy to go to Dearborn, Michigan in the USA instead of really putting your religiosity on the line and moving to the Middle East.

Instead of really putting themselves out there for their beliefs (it's not Christianity, I can tell you that), they come to Dearborn where they have police protection and if they don't get treated the way they want, they sue.  The entire purpose is fundraising.  They bring cameras and videotape what allegedly happened (the videos are selectively edited because they don't show the pighead on the stick and they don't show these "loving Christians" yelling insults at the people they are supposedly trying to convert).  So there is nothing about them regarding Christian love.

Here is a link to their lawsuit--

http://www.thenewsherald.com/articles/2012/09/26/news/doc506307bf4d18a127290679.txt

But what happened in a nutshell is this--these out of town troublemakers come to Dearborn, Michigan and wanted police protection to make trouble.  These "Bible Believers" insult and talk hatefully to local Muslims and others who are enjoying the festival--solely to get on film for fundraising and to eventually sue local authorities (this is their game and it is satanic, in my opinion).  So, when these alleged "Christian" troublemakers begin insulting the Muslims and people respond, they claim the authorities didn't protect them.   Let me get this straight--you come from out of town with the sole intention of pissing off a group of people who are enjoying a festival and then you sue because they respond to your insults?  Isn't this the dumbest stuff you have ever heard?

One of the things I find funny, is the out of town troublemakers claim that the Muslim's were using "Shariah Law" because they responded to the insults.  Hey, Bible Believers, you are in the USA and were treated by our laws.  If you were in Syria, you would be decapitated--in public.  That is Sharia Law.  Poor angry white male "Bible Believers", you come to Dearborn to raise monies to do your evil works and when people respond you cry like a baby.  What ever happened to what Jesus said, about "turning the other cheek"?  Of course not, because you and your ilk aren't about God, Jesus or the Bible, you are about money and arrogance.

Sad and True

Some media outlets are up in arms because a consultant to rightwing nutcase for Senate candidate, Todd Akin, compared "his resolve" to cult leader David Koresh whose stand off with the US Government lead to 81 deaths including 28 children.  Link here--

http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entry/consultant-compares-akins-fortitude-to-that-of-david?ref=fpblg

Amazing this exchange occurred with hate group Family Research Council leader Tony Perkins.  I say, don't be upset, be glad they actually told the truth.  These rightwing Republicans are a cult and will hold out to the very end and don't give a damn about you or God or America.  All they care about is money and power.  So, I say a big "thank you" to Kellyanne Conway (Akin's consultant) for telling us exactly who they are and how they really think.

Rightwing Christians--Mormonism is a false Religion

I particular don't care what religion someone is who is running for President.  What I do mind, A LOT, is hypocrisy.  My rightwing brothers and sisters overflow in hypocrisy.  Here is a link to how rightwingers always think about "false religions".

http://pastors4huckabeeblog.com/the-biblical-case-against-voting-for-a-mormon-for-president-why-christians-who-support-romney-actualy-violate-scripture/

This site gives you, in detail, how rightwing "Christians" are supposed to think about those who don't have their faith.  You Are Against Them!  They Are Evil!  They Are Satanic!  However, their Pharisiacal leaders are telling them that it is OK to vote for a Satan spawn.  Because the Mormon is better than the Black Christian Man in the White House. So, once again we see rightwing hypocrisy and its for political power, not because they "are doing God's will".

This is just a bunch of Crap

Catholic Bishop Thomas John Paprocki just comes out with a bunch of crap basically claiming if you vote for Obama, you will go to hell.  So, let me get this straight.  Voting for the Christian on the ballot will send you to hell, but voting for the heretical satan worshipping Mormon, gives you a good chance to get to Heaven.  That's right.  Any religion that is not "Christian" is automatically evil and in league with the devil.  And that is the typical mantra from rightwing alleged Christians.

http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/david/catholic-bishop-voting-obama-jeopardizes-ete

This moron also claims there is nothing wrong with the Republican platform.  I guess he didn't see the Catholic Bishop letter on Paul Ryan's budget and this guy is a freakin' Catholic Bishop.

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/222003-catholic-bishops-criticize-ryan-budget-cuts-to-food-stamps

I can only imagine how hard the Pharisees tried to keep their power when Jesus was around and to what lengths they would lie, cheat, create havoc and eventually have Jesus arrested and put to death.  This guy is in that company.  Asshat thy name is Catholic Bishop Thomas John Paprocki.

Rightwing "Christians" Bearing False Witness

Religious rightwing leaders are once again lying to their flock.  Link to the lies here--

http://www.alternet.org/news-amp-politics/3-big-lies-religious-right-voter-guide-hitting-13-million-cell-phones

But, the point of the matter is they will lie to win and think it is OK.  In the Bible, one of the Ten Commandments is to not lie about others.  Exodus 20:16--"You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor".  This is repeated in Deuteronomy 5:20.

These lies are going throughout American churches and sent to cell phones purely for political power.  There is no Jesus in this situation, only Satan.  That is who the "Christian" rightwing represents.

Catholic Hypocrisy on "Protect Religious Freedom"

I see yard signs, usually at Catholic churches that state "Protect Religious Freedom".  The idea that President Obama isn't protecting "religious freedom" is another lie by rightwingers because they are upset that women may (I repeat may) get contraception from their insurance company health care policy.  Details on President Obama's protection of Religious Freedom is here--

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/george-lakoff/obama-contraception-religion_b_1766496.html

Now, this is what irritates me.  When Catholic priests were sexually abusing boys for decades, the Catholic Church hierarchy was silent.  They would shuffle the pedophiles around from town to town if the perverted priest got caught.  And all the Catholic Church tried to due was cover up the crimes of their pedophile priests.

Here is a breakdown of Catholic priest pedophilia--

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Catholic_sex_abuse_cases_by_country

So, it wasn't just the USA and it was probably more than the 5% they want us to believe.  Here is a link to over 600 children sexually abused by Catholic priests in Australia.  http://twocircles.net/2012sep23/australian_church_admits_600_child_abuse_cases.html

Here is a link to a NYT database on Catholic priest sexual abuse--

http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/organizations/r/roman_catholic_church_sex_abuse_cases/index.html

If the Catholic hierarchy was interested in the better good of society, they would have dealt with their perverted priests a long time ago.  They were forced to deal with them (to a certain extent) by secular society.  The Catholic hierarchy was afraid of lawsuits and payments to the victims of crimes.  They love money over people.  Yet, they want us to believe their "religious freedoms" are under attack when they are not.  This is hypocrisy at its highest point and they should be ashamed.

"Values Voters"--a Collection of Bigots and Haters

If you have watched or read any of the Family Research Council's "Values Voters Summit", you would easily recognize why the Southern Poverty Law Center calls them a "hate group".  That's what their "Values Voters Summit" was, a festival of lying and hatred.  It is apparent there are no values here.

So, for example, the FRC brings in an "ex-terrorist" Kamel Saleem (who pals around with terrorists?) to claim that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is "planning on shutting down churches" and professors are basically working with terrorists.  No truth to it, but that's what the Values Voters want.  They are a hateful, bigoted group and the bigger the lie the better.

Rep. Steven King claimed President Obama and "his leftist minions" are trying to undermine America at every turn.  What?  The Republican House hasn't passed one piece of legislation that would help create jobs since 2010 and there claim to fame is to do nothing in an effort to defeat Obama in 2012.  That has caused more harm to this country than Obama has done (which I can't think of too much that has harmed this country under Obama--saved the economy, made us safer, etc).

Dinesh D'Souza got to spout off some more of his "intellectual stupidity" by claiming Obama has no interest in Civil Rights.  D'Souza is getting rich off of white people's ignorance.

Romney security advisor, Walid Phares, claims Obama has no interest in the War on Terror anymore.  That is odd since Obama got Bin Laden and many more of al-Queda, quite often using illegal drone strikes which the Republicans and Values Voters love.  I don't get why people love these liars so much, but it must be due to their hatred of the Black Man in the White House.

Rep. Dana Rorbacher from California also claims President Obama is responsible for the death of a diplomat which was actually in response to a rightwing "Christian" film about Islam--Obama had nothing to do with it.

Michelle Bachmann made the usual fool of herself claiming that Obama has enforced "Islamic Speech Codes in the USA".  Not to be outdone, Eric Cantor, claimed that Obama and the Democrats are going to take God and Christianity away from us.

Probably the most accurate quote of the event was from Rick Santorum who said--"We will never have the elite, smart people on our side".  They have the most elite with Romney, Koch, Adelson, Bush, etc.  The accuracy is they don't have too many smart people on their side.

I found this good quote from an anonymous source on the web regarding this Summit--"These people are supposedly the moral authority of our country, the "good christian" types. Why do they feel that lies are justified to advance an agenda that is staunchly anti-American? They claim they are defending the Constitution and understand the founder's true intentions.  They may want to read James Madison's  Memorial and Remonstrance Against Religious Assessment where he states "that religion or the duty which we owe to our Creator and the manner of discharging it, can be directed only by reason and conviction, not by force or violence." as well as "The Religion then of every man must be left to the conviction and conscience of every man; and it is the right of every man to exercise it as these may dictate."

This is what Americans see as "Christians" in the USA.  No wonder, people are leaving the faith.  Hatred, bigotry and lying all for power has nothing to do with Christianity.  People can tell what is true and right and the Values Voters are neither.

Gary Bauer, another "Christian" Liar

Gary Bauer calls himself a Christian.  Yet, when you see he was the President of the very political righwing Family Research Council, it makes sense he would be a liar.  That is what the FRC does--is lie a lot to scare mostly white people about the evils of ....(fill in the blank) and send us a check so we can fight against it!

Link to Bauer's bio here--http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Bauer

But what brings me to a piece on Bauer is his latest lie at the "Values Voter Summit".  He lied about voter fraud giving President Obama a re-election win (if Obama actually wins).  It is true in this country is there is voter fraud, but it is rare.  The real problem when it comes to voting is full scale election fraud and it is perpetrated by Republicans against mostly Democratic voters.  Republicans will purge hundreds of thousands to millions of eligible voters off the rolls to try to ensure victory.  However, when less than 20 cases of "voter fraud" turn up, THAT is the problem according to people like Bauer.

This is a good piece discussing Republican Election Fraud--http://www.uawfordcommunity.com/index.php/news/news-that-matters/political-news/item/197-repubs-election-fraud

The idea of this fraud came from "Christian" rightwinger who helped create the American Legislative Exchange Council.  I would guess Bauer would be very familiar with Weyrich.  They have been trying to suppress the vote at least since 1980.   Yet, Bauer claims to the "Values Voters" that we have rampant voter fraud.  Link--
http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/09/gary-bauer-voter-fraud-welfare-recipients.php?ref=fpb

Now, I don't know about you, but when someone like Bauer who claims he is a Christian can come out with a straight face and lie there is a problem.  It is lying for political power and to raise money. And those "Values Voters" attendees will eat this stuff up.  You know why?  They love the lies because they believe the lies.  I know some "Values Voters" and they believe every crazy rightwing lie you can make up---and they will give the liars money--lots of it.

Sometimes I feel sorry for the fools who give money to people like Bauer whose sole job is to create controversy and disruption to be in the limelight and promote themselves.  These "Values Voters" have numerous avenues not to be blinded and hateful.  Yet, they voluntarily appear to be exactly that.  I remember being in a Bible Study in 2008 and the Values Voters Class was offered and I took it.  One of the values I thought was important was jobs and the economy.  You know what?  The trained "leader" of the group didn't think so, even though George W. Bush and the Republicans crashed our economy.  You know what was important?  The same cultural hot button issues that always were important--abortion, gays, etc.  And this was the exact template the Family Research Council was sending to Churches throughout the USA.

And these will be the same issues for each election until the money for the Family Research Council and other fake Christian groups whose sole purpose is to create division and fundraise dry up.

How Satan works, an example

My last post about Terry Jones, cult leader and megalomaniac which can be seen here--

http://outingfalseteachers.blogspot.com/2012/09/satan-spawn-terry-jones-continues-his.html

This post discusses how Jones is culpabale for the actions of others based on his lies and deceit regarding the Islamic faith.  Juan Cole adds more to the story and the people that Jones inflamed in Egypt and Libya are....wait for it...just like Jones.  Extremist fanatics who want to remain relevant in their culture.

http://www.juancole.com/2012/09/romney-jumps-the-shark-libya-egypt-and-the-butterfly-effect.html

Please read Cole's entire blog piece on this.  You will be amazed at the level of fraud perpetuated in the film and by those behind the film (Terry Jones).  BTW, if you do any research on Jones, you will quickly determine what a fraud and scoundrel this piece of work is.  Yet, this is one example of how the devil works.  You have people like Jones doing the devils work in the USA and you have others like Sheikh Khaled Abdallah carrying it out in the Middle East.  Basically, the same person in different parts of the planet.  Cole explains:

"The bad, dubbed ‘film’ only had one theater showing in some dowdy place in LA. Then in July the group had the trailer for it dubbed into Arabic with subtitles as well, and put it on Youtube, where it was found by strident Egyptian Muslim fundamentalist Sheikh Khaled Abdallah, who had it shown on al-Nas television and caused the sensation that led to Tuesday’s demonstrations in Cairo and Benghazi. As I argued yesterday, the vigilante extremists or ‘jihadis’ have been left on the garbage pile of history by the democratic elections in Egypt and Libya, and are whipping up the issue of this film in a desperate attempt to remain relevant."

Abdallah had this fraudulent film shown on TV, why?  Knowing it would inflame emotions.  Jones burns a Koran or comes to Dearborn, MI to "protest" against Islam, why? To inflame emotions.  Once again, if Jones really wants to challenge Islam, he should take up residence in a Middle Eastern country with a high Islamic population. He won't.  Jones is a coward and charlatan.  He'd rather be in the USA under the protection of our "socialist" government where he is free to say and sue whoever he wants because as the flim-flam man Jones is, he knows there are a lot of people who are afraid out there and Jones knows how to touch those buttons to get their money.  That is one way the devil works.

Satan Spawn, Terry Jones continues his devilish work

The US Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, was murdered yesterday by Islamic zealots.  What drove them to do this?  An anti-Mohamed film promoted by satan spawn and cult leader, Terry Jones.  Jones is in no way shape or form a Christian.  He is fulled with hate and in love with power or money.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/guy-koran-burning-pastor-terry-jones-backs-anti-muhammad-movie-article-1.1157522

There are some media outlets stating that Jones is partially responsible for the deaths (more than Stevens was murdered) and I agree.  Mediate disagrees with my position here--

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/morning-joe-panelist-says-terry-jones-an-accessory-to-libya-killings/

But, Mediate also provides evidence that Jones other actions have caused death and violence.  It seems kind of odd to me that they can call him an asshole but not accessory to murder.  He is an asshole AND an accessory to murder.  Let's provide some facts here--there was no violence or threat of violence towards Stevens until Jones film was promoted and released.  Hmm...so if Jones film wasn't promoted or released, you would have Stevens alive.  So, there is a direct link.  Let's not be stupid here.  Jones whole purpose is to inflame crazy people in the Middle East to make himself "relevant", but also to raise money.

Jones is a self-serving megolomaniac.  He does the work of Satan creating havoc and strife.  It is clear Jones is a problem.  Yet, we have "intellectuals" here and "media professionals" saying Jones can do what he has done.  I think if your actions lead to harm or death of US citizens in other countries, you should stand trial and if found guilty, go to jail.

Keeping us Safe

It always amazes me the illogic of those who claim President George W. Bush and the Republican Party kept us "safe".  They actually mean after 9-11 and somehow are in denial that the worst terrorist attack in US history happened under their watch.  This link gives a good explanation of this bizarre logic--

http://www.uawfordcommunity.com/index.php/news/news-that-matters/political-news/item/137-phony-politicization

And this article by Kurt Eichenwald in the New York Times on September 11, 2012 blows the lid more off of the Bush Administration and Republican lie they "protected" us.  It seems there is even more information on how the Bush Administration had advance warning and ignored it.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/11/opinion/the-bush-white-house-was-deaf-to-9-11-warnings.html?_r=1&ref=opinion

It is odd to me that the President (Bush) who didn't keep us safe is somehow glorified as a protector and the one who has been keeping us safe (Obama) is presented as some kind of evil, foreign overlord by conservatives who claim they are Christian.  Well, they are wrong.  It is obvious to me that when God puts someone into power that protects us and you are Christian, you should notice it.  Conservative "Christians" are not being honest with themselves.  This is too bad, Satan has them hooked on hatred and they refuse to give it up.

So, thank you God and President Obama for keeping us safe.

Dobson had "Obama 2012", D'Souza has "Obama 2016"

I don't like Dr. James Dobson, he is a liar and charlatan.  He is a power hungry money grubber that got rich off of scaring the shit out of conservative Christians.  In 2008, Dobson penned the "Letter from 2012 in Obama's America" which was another piece of trash fully meant to continue to scare the shit out of any conservative Christian who may have been thinking about voting for Barack Obama due to the failure of the "second coming of Moses" (George W. Bush--who was promoted by Dobson).

Link to paranoid letter here--

http://www.wnd.com/files/Focusletter.pdf

BTW, anything and I mean anything that comes from World Net Daily is automatically untrue.  Only rightwingers and mentally insane people write for WND.  Yet, Dobson's lies (he gives himself an "out" by claiming that these are differing "scenarios" he came up with for the future--the problem with that is his brainwashed denizens will believe Dobson)--were the template for D'Souza's terrible movie (you can read about D'Souza in my Republican Abomination series).

First off, Dobson makes claims about the "far left".  Where are they at?  We haven't had a "left" in this country since the 1960's and many of those leftists are now conservative voters.  President Obama's policies and governing are reminiscent of Ronald Reagan--the Republican people like Dobson love!  If Obama was on the "left" he would have fought for national single payer health care instead of pushing us all into the insurance industry for our health care needs.

Dobson is wrong on just about everything here--Supreme Court? Wrong.  Freedom of Religion? Wrong.  Abortion?  Wrong.  Gun rights? Wrong. Education? Wrong.  Military Policy?  Thank God Dobson is wrong on this front.  Hey Dobbie, Osama Bin Laden is dead.  Health Care? Wrong.  Taxes? Wrong.  Talk radio censorship? Wrong. Christian Publishers? Wrong. Prosecution of Bush officials? Wrong, but the Bush officials should have been prosecuted and sent to the Hague War Crimes Tribunal.

The only thing Dobson got somewhat right is that gay rights have improved in America under President Obama.  Dobson went into a long rant on homosexuals, he wrote so much about them, at the end I believe Dobson is one.

Maybe if Dobson blamed Republicans and conservatives about their high usage and viewing of pornography, he may have some respect.  But Dobson just blames "liberals" and the "culture", etc. Yet doesn't seem to explain why Red States have the highest usage.  Maybe because they are his financial base?

So, Dr. James Dobson, you put out a letter to make people afraid of candidate Obama and you were WRONG.  How about showing some repentance and putting out a 16-page apology letter to the President?  At least then we would see some form of repentance.  I don't expect that to be forthcoming because you are just another rightwing crackpot making money off of people by scaring them with your "expertise".

But Dobson is what is wrong with the "religious Right".  He makes stuff up and has media control to promote his lies.  Many people who genuinely want to follow Christ are driven off the mark by people like Dobson who take these innocent people seeking a Savior and brainwashing them into being rightwing political tools with very little knowledge of the Bible.  They think they are Christians, but they are not and Dobson and his ilk are to blame.

Jesus vs. The Pharisees

From what I've seen and heard from both the Republican National Convention and Democratic National Convention, we can tell a lot about both parties.

First, there was the RNC in Tampa, Florida.  Most of the Republican speakers were white and men.  All wanted us to be afraid of the Black man in the Oval Office.  He was destroying our country, we were told (which is a lie).  He was giving the country over to the Blacks, we were told in their covert racist language (which is a lie).  He was destroying Medicare and we (the Republicans) would protect and save it (this is one of the biggest lies as the exact opposite is true).  So, listening to the Republicans, it was clear--they are Pharisees.  They are the people who are "in control" or want to be and will lie, cheat and steal to get that power.  Because it is power and money they love, not God.  This link gives a good description of the Pharisees--

http://www.keyway.ca/htm2002/pharisee.htm

With this being the takeaway line--

"The lesson from the Pharisees' example is that self-righteousness is not righteousness, and that God's true people are to live according to all of God's Word, not just certain parts that are most convenient or to one's own liking."

Jesus didn't pull punches with the Pharisees as this link demonstrates--

http://bible.org/seriespage/chapter-23-jesus-condemns-scribes-and-pharisees

If you have read my Republican Abomination series, this should not be new information.  What may be new information is how the Democratic National Convention models more of What Jesus Would Like To See (WJWLTS).  The Democrats have minorities, women, gays, young and old.  Quite a different mix than the old angry white male Republican who is brainwashed and delusional.  I am not saying the Democrats are perfect or great, but they seem to model behavior that Jesus could support, rather than the self-righteous, self-proclaimed rightwing "Christians" of the Republican Party.

Jesus was the friend of sinners as this link reminds us--

http://themasterstable.wordpress.com/2009/02/22/jesus-friend-of-sinners/

Jesus hung out with sinners, not the Pharisees (because the Pharisees, like modern Republicans were delusional--thinking they were better than everyone else--even Jesus.  If Jesus reappeared today, the Republicans would try to crucify Him!)  Jesus hung out with the worst in society at that time--prostitutes, tax collectors and sinners in general.

Jesus gave sinners hope and faith.  Pharisees gave sinners a burden that brought them down.  Today, Democrats give Americans hope and faith, Republicans place a burden on us all so the rich Pharisees can benefit.  Jesus gave us love, Pharisees give us hate and division.  Today, Republicans give us hate and division.  Democrats are open to people who are different.  Republicans hate those who are different.  Tell me, who are the Christians again?

Haley Barbour, Racist "Christian"

Barbour wished that President Obama would be branded.

"Barbour spoke at a fundraiser and briefing in Tampa last Thursday put on by Karl Rove, who co-founded the American Crossroads super PAC and its sister non-profit. Barbour is a former adviser to the groups. “While I would love for [Chris] Christie to put a hot poker to Obama’s butt,” Haley said of his reaction to Christie's address. “I thought he did what he was supposed to do.”"

http://crooksandliars.com/nicole-belle/haley-barbour-i-would-love-christie-p

This is reminiscent of when white slave owners branded their African American slaves.  http://archderm.jamanetwork.com/article.aspx?articleid=1105486

Which is exactly what Barbour meant.  To the white racists, Obama is just an uppity slave that needs to be "put back in his place".  Because to the white "Christians" such as Barbour, every day is "Birth of a Nation" Day where white racists rule supreme.  Of course, it has been updated by the current Republican Tea Party as "Birthers of a Nation".

This is the logical conclusion of Barbour's words that came out of his mouth--

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/aia/part1/1narr5.html

I wonder when and where Barbour is holding his next cross burning?

Republican Abomination--Mike Huckabee--the Lying Pastor

This is it in my "Republican Abomination" series.  I have to stop at 10 because I could continue to add onto this topic--actually, I may set up another blog just for this topic.  But, I may not blog on it too much because their lies and hypocrisy is overwhelming.  What is also overwhelming is how rightwing or conservative alleged "Christians" love these lies.

Mike Huckabee was a "Christian" Pastor for a few churches.  I am not sure what kind of pastor he was at that point in time.  He may have been good or bad.  I would suspect he wasn't bad because he did encourage an all-white Baptist Church to accept Black members--from Wikipedia--
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Huckabee

The Wikipedia doesn't say whether the church agreed or how hard Huckabee pushed.  But, today is today and Huckabee has been consistently lying about President Obama.  So, we allegedly have someone who promoted the inclusion of Blacks into White churches while today consistently lying about our Black President.  Hmm...makes you wonder.

Huckabee lies that the Obama's tithe only 1% of their income when it is actually 14.2% of adjusted gross income.  Meanwhile, Huckabee won't release tax his tax returns.  I think that Huckabee is "casting a stone" here.  First off lying about the Obama's, secondly not showing what he is tithing.

http://www.arktimes.com/ArkansasBlog/archives/2012/02/10/mike-huckabee-lie-about-obama-we-report-you-decide

During the debate about healthcare in America, Huckabee lied about "Death Panels'--

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2011/03/09/mike-huckabees-latest-lie-death-panels/177382

Huckabee criticized Natalie Portman (movie star) about having a child out of wedlock because it is "glamorous".  This is odd because Huckabee would be the first one screaming that Portman and women in general should not be allowed to get an abortion.  You can't have it both ways, Huck.  Plus, who in their right mind believes it is "glamorous" to have out of wedlock children?  I think women value life more than the rightwing Republican men give them credit for.  Single women don't have abortions because they choose life.

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/plum-line/2011/03/huckabee_backtracks.html

The Washington Post fact checks some of Huckabee's lies at the RNC convention--\

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-checker/post/fact-checking-rnc-comments-from-mike-huckabee-and-john-mccain/2012/08/31/172b2bea-f32b-11e1-adc6-87dfa8eff430_blog.html

I was surprised that the Post didn't take up Huckabee's lie that Obama supports "infanticide".  I don't recall Obama trying to kill babies, do you?  Think Progress takes up this Huckabee lie--

http://thinkprogress.org/election/2012/08/27/747511/gingrich-huckabee-obama-abortion/

Lastly, Huckabee is a staunch support of Todd Akin's lie about "legitimate rape" and  that women who are truly raped typically self-abort.  There is no scientific evidence of this being true.  Yet, Huckabee backs Akin as can be seen here--

http://www.plaintruth.com/the_plain_truth/2012/08/mike-huckabee-blasts-gop-critics-of-todd-akin.html

So, this is the guy who passes himself off as a big "Republican Christian".  All I can say is God help them all and us, too!

Republican Abomination Part 9--Dinesh D'Souza Frontline liar for GOP

Geez, I think I can stop now naming individual Republicans as liars.  They all seem to lie-A LOT.  The more conservative and religious Republicans lie the most and agree with the liars the most.  D'Souza is a "Christian conservative intellectual" so his lies "carry more weight".

D'Souza got conservative funding to make and promote his anti-Obama film called "Obama 2016".

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/26/us/politics/joe-ricketts-finds-new-role-in-anti-obama-campaign.html

Granted, most reviewers peg the movie as a "character assasination" and borderline slander of the current President.  Rightwing sites hail it as "the truth!"  But D'Souza's movie, like his books on Obama are non-factual.  They are opinion pieces.  I think D'Souza was encouraged after writing a bad hit piece on President Obama in 2010 which was deconstructed by Columbia Journalism Review here--

Here is a blog from a rightwinger (an honest conservative or libertarian) that takes apart D'Souza's lunacy in 2007.  He hasn't gotten better.

Bill Maher takes D'Souza to task over his lies.  Beware, there is some bad language here.

Wow, Maher points out that D'Souza isn't dealing in reality here. But, unfortunately that is why D'Souza is getting a lot of $$$ to promote these lies.  And D'Souza is a "Christian".  I don't believe it, he is getting paid to lie about President Obama and comes up with a bunch of crap.  Meet, the new George Will, folks.

Here is another one challenging D'Souza--

It seems that when D'Souza is challenged by a journalist/opinionator he has nothing.  But, it doesn't matter for many rightwing religionists, this will make them feel better about their irrational hatred of a Black President.  Just because D'Souza lies to make White people (especially White Men) feel better about themselves, it doesn't make it true.
